HTV Solid PU

Solid polyurethane or PU film is a fantastic heat press vinyl option.  Need heat transfer vinyl sheets which are easy to cut, quick to stick and suitable for a wide range of garments?  HTV Solid PU is a heat transfer vinyl choice which should be at the top of your shopping list.

This environmentally-friendly film is extremely simple to weed and cut and is well-known for its flexibility.  It’s amazingly elastic!  Your fabrics will easily stretch along with this HTV vinyl, and you’re also guaranteed incredible durability wash after wash.

We recommend HTV solid PU for clothing designs which require detailed numbering, letters and logos.  It’s also ideal for clothing which is likely to undergo heavy wear and tear, such as sports kits.  Solid PU is t-shirt vinyl material to depend on.  You’ll get much more use out of stretchy PU than with iron on transfers.

Our heat press vinyl in solid PU offers world-class, luxury image transfer onto almost any garment.  It’s available in over 38 different colours and incredible neon tints.  Why not take a closer look at heat transfer vinyl with the durability you deserve?  It is just one of many different options we offer.

Usage Guidelines

Cutter Guidelines

Once you’re ready to start cutting and weeding your vinyl, there are only a few recommended steps to follow.  Here’s what you’ll need to do if you’re using a cutter.
Always make sure you cut your design, text or numbering out in reverse, before weeding out any excess film.

We recommend the following model and settings for cuts – which we have used to demonstration ideal cutting standards:

Plotter: Roland GX-24
Blade: 45 Degrees
Force: 130 – 160g/f
Offset: 0.250mm
Speed: 15cm/sec

Always make sure you run thorough test prints and cuts before starting a production run or extensive printing.
Take care with your cutting blade and where you may be working.  There is potential for melt layer separation during the cutting process.
When weeding, always take the operator into account after removing your pattern and putting cutting conditions in place.

Application Guidelines

Set your heat press to 140°C to 150°C.
Apply medium and even pressure across your transfer.
Press for 8 – 10 seconds.
Peel the release liner when it is Hot, Warm peel.

Wash Care Guidelines

40°C Standard Wash. Can be tumble dried on a low setting and ironed inside out.

Storage

Store at room temperature (temperature: 20 ± 5 °C, humidity: 35 ± 15%) and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
